Fundamentals for Vitrea Advanced Visualization – Version 7

Course Description
This three-day post-processing course teaches the fundamentals of Vital Images’ advanced visualization software. Participants receive training on a variety of applications and disciplines within the software.

Each student will utilize their own workstation in a classroom setting with lecture, exam assessments and hands-on training. The course will consist of education covering 2-D imaging including multi-planar reformatting (MPR) and maximum intensity projection (MIP). 3D volumetric studies including cardiac, multi-phase imaging, lung analysis, vessel analysis, brain perfusion, virtual colonoscopy and endovascular stent planning will be reviewed. The student will perform exam specific assessment reviews and have relevant case studies to work with.

Fundamentals for Vitrea Advanced Visualization – Version 6

Course Description
This three-day post-processing course teaches the fundamentals of Vital Images’ advanced visualization software that creates 2D, 3D and 4D images of human anatomy. Participants receive an overview of the variety of applications and disciplines within the software including cardiac, peripherals, EP planning, lung, tumor, joint disarticulation, perfusion, pulmonary and renal. Learn to manipulate 2D and 3D images, including multi-planar reformatting (MPR), maximum intensity projection (MIP) and volumes, through hands-on exercises delivered by experienced Vital U clinical applications instructors. U.S.-based technologists can earn CE credits from this course.

Each course module reinforces Vital U’s standardized learning methodology with step-by-step instruction for image acquisition, protocol assignment, case analysis and image distribution.
